 【課程說明】
     Course Description      
       課程的撰寫重點在於:將工程實務、圖學理論、工具軟體三者結合成為一體,以迎接新世代的電腦輔助設計與繪圖。傳統圖學介紹著重基礎製圖規範與圖學理論之介紹,以及平面視圖與立體視圖之理論解說及繪製,內容偏重製圖規範及理論傳授;而傳統之電腦輔助設計繪圖軟體課程,多以強調軟體的操作為主,輔以圖形範例進行繪圖之示範。然而,隨著電腦輔助設計繪圖軟體的日趨成熟,如何將基礎圖學與電腦輔助設計繪圖軟體進行適切的融合,已成為當務之急。  
The key point of this course is the combination of engineering practice, graphical theory, and software tools in order to deal with the computer-aided design and drawing in the new generation. Traditional graphics emphasize the introduction to basic drafting and graphics theory and the concept explanation and drafting of front view and pictorial view, which puts more emphasis on drawing rules and theory explanation. Traditional courses of computer-aided design graphic software highlight the operation of the software as a focus, supplemented with drawing according to graphic examples. However, as the development of the computer-aided design graphic software, how to properly merge the basic graphics and computer-aided design graphic software is already being a top priority.  
 
       因此,本課程特色將朝以下的目標發展:從設計實務的觀點,進行圖學理論的介紹,清晰表達圖學的 內涵;從軟體應用的觀點,進行設計繪圖的操作,完整發揮軟體的特色;並進一步加以整合構成電腦輔助設計圖學,並規劃實際之計畫範例,進行整合的工作,期使本課程能夠成為兼具學術及工程價值。  
Therefore, the feature of this course will follow the target: from the aspect of design practice, we will introduce the graphic theory and express the clear image of graphics; from the viewpoint of software application, we will do the design drafting and make the use of characteristics of the software; moreover, we will integrate the above concepts to CAD graphics and plan the practical examples to do the integration. Look forward to making this course have both academic and engineering values.  
 
       本課程由設計繪圖的實務觀點開始圖學的簡介;接著,對圖學的規範進行系列的介紹,以建立深厚的圖學基礎,包括基礎圖學內容之工程圖的標準、線條的種類與用途、正投影、立體圖與三視圖、剖面圖、尺寸標註、公差與配合...等等; 然後,便是電腦輔助設計繪圖軟體AutoCAD的操作基礎培訓,此乃經由系統性的分類及整理,從基本之繪 圖編輯指令示範,發展到高階之應用指令介紹;之後,便是應用幾何與投影幾何的解說,至此建立起設計圖學與繪圖軟體之根基;緊接著,進行電腦輔助設計製圖的整合,從平面的正投影圖繪製,一直到立體之等角圖、斜視圖,以及透視圖的電腦輔助繪製;最後,並另以獨立之章節,透過實際設計範例,展現項電腦輔助製圖觀念與技巧的應用成果,期使能夠兼顧理論與實務。 
This course starts with the introduction to graphics from the perspective of practical design graphic. Next, in order to set up a concrete graphics foundation, it continues with a series of introduction to the rules of graphics, including the basic graphic contents-- the standard of engineering graph, the category and function of lines,  orthographic projection, 3D view and 3 view drawing, sectional view, dimensioning, limits and fits, etc. And then, it provides the basic operation training of CAD graphic software AutoCAD, which is systematically classified into the parts, from the demonstration of fundamental drawing editing instruction to the introduction of high-level applied command. Afterwards, to build the basis of design drawing, it goes on with the explanation of graphic geometry and descriptive geometry. Furthermore, it comes to the integration of CAD graphic, which is from the drawing of 2D orthographic drawing to the 3D isometric, oblique and perspective drawing. Last but not least, with an independent chapter, we will show the applied results of computer-aided graphic concepts and skills through practical designs and examples, hoping to learn not only from the theory but also the practice.

           Course Description
       本課程以台灣傳統民謠(包括原住民、福佬及客家等三大系統)及具有本土音樂元素的創作歌曲為基本素材以福佬系為主,探討其背後所反映的文化背景與內涵 ─ 包括風土民俗、政經活動、社會現象、歷史經驗、思想信仰、語言關聯及文學藝術等。 
       整個課程雖以嚴謹的態度來進行,但寓教於樂,讓學生從優美的旋律與雋永的歌曲中,感受文化的意義和特質。也讓學生回顧先民走過的歷史軌跡,吸收老祖先的養份,以走出健康而正確的未來。

This course introduces three Taiwan folk music systems: aboriginal, Hoklo, and Hakka music,in particular about Hoklo music system.Taking songs with local elements as fundamental course references, we will investigate the culture, customs, traditions, political activities, social phenomena, history, beliefs, and literary arts.  
We expect those beautiful rhythms and evocative songs will inspire students to grasp the meanings and Characteristics of Tawanese culture. By following our ancestor’s’ footsteps, we hope all our students will reach out to a bright future.

         本課程範圍為作業管理(Operations Management)中特殊與生產密切關係的生產計劃與管制系統 (PPC,Production Planning and Control System),將著重探討PPC的整體架構及其功能。 
         因此在理論上將探討數個有關生產計劃與管制的基本功能模式,包括供給與需求,預測,存貨,產 能,總合生產計劃,主排程,物料需求計劃(MRP),產能規劃,作業排程,限制理論,生產活動管制,與精實生產等,並以作業、模擬遊戲與個案輔助學習。 
         The course covers the special parts of operations management which related to production planning and control system. It will focus on general structure and function of PPC (Production Planning and Control System). Therefore, we will discuss lots of theories related to production planning and control’s basic function including supply and demand , forecasting , inventory, capacity , aggregate production planning, master scheduling, material requirements planning, capacity planning , operation scheduling, restrictions theory , production control activities , and lean production. There are five major parts of subjects to be introduced in this course. The subject of the first part are about the household. We will focus on individual consumer's decision making with and without uncertainty. In the second part, we will focus on the decision making at the level of individual firm. Given the technological opportunities available to it, how much output will a firm choose to see, and how will the firm go about producing this output?

        Course Description
        This is a two consecutive semesters course. There are five major parts of subjects to be introduced in this course. The subject of the first part are about the household. We will focus on individual consumer's decision making with and without uncertainty. In the second part, we will focus on the decision making at the level of individual firm. Given the technological opportunities available to it, how much output will a firm choose to see, and how will the firm go about producing this output? In the third part, the competitive model will be introduced. We will see a competitive market produces 
        results that are in some sense "good". In the fourth (will be convered in the Industrial Organization course), we will see different kinds of market structures. The price and output decisions under different market structrue will be analyzed and compared with those under perfect competition. In the last part, the problem of missing market will be discussed (will be covered in the Topics in Microeconomics Theory course). In the presence of asymmetric information, the markets for certain commodities may not come into existence. Even if markets exist, they may fail to allocate resources 
efficiently.

The purpose of this course is to help students know literature and creations. And then figure out the meaning of literature and creations. This may help them build up the competency of reading and enjoying literature. Moreover, they may have interested in creations. The position of this course is “introduction”. Therefore, we will discuss the nature of literature, the difference between literature, the key issues about literature and creations. This course is different from “Introduction to Literature”. We will use some examples to discuss every topic. It includes modern poems, modern prose, modern novels and movies.

        本課程主要由教師來導讀與分析各個單元主題與文本、帶領同學進行理論與文本的對應閱讀,並在 課堂中設立各種相關議題,提供學生思考並討論。本課程將使用power point等多媒體方式講授,以期清楚而豐富的傳達觀點。學生則應在課堂上或小組討論時間充分表達對議題之看法,讓教師能理解學生的吸收與反應,也能訓練其表達能力,同時提供一個論辯的開放場域。
The course is mainly taught by the teacher and the teacher will explain every topic or cases. The teacher will help students discuss theory and cases study. Meanwhile, set up some topic related to the course to let students discuss and figure out something during the course. The course will use power point to give out the lecture in order to give out a clear points of view. Students should give out their point of view to the topic. Therefore, the teacher can notice whether students can understand courses or not.It may train the students’ ability of expression. Moreover, we provide an environment for debating.

介紹信號處理在音樂、語音、或其他日常生活中聽得到的聲訊中應用:

包含分析與合成兩大部分。學生修完本課程,應能對這個領域的核心技術、背景觀念有充分理解,並對本領域新研究課題有所接觸,以期激發創造力,針對有興趣的課題作更深入的實作研究。建議學生須具備撰寫MATLAB或其他程式語言的能力。
   
預修課程
  信號與系統,線性代數, 或由授課老師許可. 亦歡迎有興趣之大學部高年級同學選修.

 
 To introduce application of signal processing methods in music,language, and other sounds in
 
daily life, including two major parts: sound analysis and sound
synthesis. After taking this course, students should be familiar with the core
techniques and background knowledge in this field. Also, current research topics
will be selectively covered. Final projects are required and students are
encouraged to be creative. Prerequisite: Signals and Systems, Linear Algebra, or
consent by the instructor. Undergraduates in junior or senior years are also
welcome to take this course.

           電子顯微鏡是一個科學研究上被廣泛使用的顯微設備。為了提供在使用儀器上的基礎知識背景。本學期課程將說明電子顯微鏡的基本原理,由電子顯微鏡的基本電子光學架構開始談起,並說明電子與樣品之間的交互作用,以及我們能夠由電子顯微鏡得到哪一些樣品特性的資訊。並說明電子顯微鏡基本操作的方法。

            Electron microscope is a widely-used microscopic equipment in the scientific research field. To provide the basic knowledge about the usage of instruments, this courses will include the fundamental theory of electron microscope. We’ll start from the basic electron optics framework of electron microscope to the interaction between electron and specimen, and to the information of specimen feature we can get from electron microscope. In addition, to explain the basic operation of electron microscope.
