In recent years, the text book is becoming thicker and thicker. And this is also becoming a problem for both teachers and students. Even for the professional courses in department of Physics, the text book is not that thick. Is this really the most effective way of learning? I don’t think so.

In Academic Year 99, I was determined to reform the way of teaching General Physics. In each semester, I only teach ten questions. I will help students understand those questions, guide the proper discussion in class, and teach them with solid and systematic background information. I hope the class will be in two-way communication. And I will combine the teaching and discussion together in order to enable the students to cultivate the ability of analyzing and solving problems, and catch a glimpse of the edge of the science by participating in class.
This course is the first step of the reformation. I hope that in Academic Year 102, we can present the General Physics class in a much more mature way (10 questions for each semester), and provide the teachers and the students another way of learning General Physics.
