         本課程範圍為作業管理(Operations Management)中特殊與生產密切關係的生產計劃與管制系統 (PPC,Production Planning and Control System),將著重探討PPC的整體架構及其功能。 
         因此在理論上將探討數個有關生產計劃與管制的基本功能模式,包括供給與需求,預測,存貨,產 能,總合生產計劃,主排程,物料需求計劃(MRP),產能規劃,作業排程,限制理論,生產活動管制,與精實生產等,並以作業、模擬遊戲與個案輔助學習。 
         The course covers the special parts of operations management which related to production planning and control system. It will focus on general structure and function of PPC (Production Planning and Control System). Therefore, we will discuss lots of theories related to production planning and control’s basic function including supply and demand , forecasting , inventory, capacity , aggregate production planning, master scheduling, material requirements planning, capacity planning , operation scheduling, restrictions theory , production control activities , and lean production. Some home works, simulation games and cases will be given to assist students for learning.

        Outline of this course
This course provides the students with basic knowledge in modeling, analysis and design for linear feedback control systems.  It begins with reviewing some mathematical fundamentals and introducing block diagrams and signal-flow graphs.  Students will then learn how to model mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems as differential equations and transfer functions.  The analysis in this course includes stability of open-loop and closed-loop systems, time responses and frequency responses of low order systems.  The design methods are divided into root-locus techniques and frequency response techniques using Bode plots for designing PID and lead/lag controllers.  Students will also learn how to apply the automatic control theory to real engineering problems via Matlab simulations and Lab assignments.

包含分析與合成兩大部分。學生修完本課程,應能對這個領域的核心技術、背景觀念有充分理解,並對本領域新研究課題有所接觸,以期激發創造力,針對有興趣的課題作更深入的實作研究。建議學生須具備撰寫MATLAB或其他程式語言的能力。
   
預修課程
  信號與系統,線性代數, 或由授課老師許可. 亦歡迎有興趣之大學部高年級同學選修.

 
 To introduce application of signal processing methods in music,language, and other sounds in
 
daily life, including two major parts: sound analysis and sound
synthesis. After taking this course, students should be familiar with the core
techniques and background knowledge in this field. Also, current research topics
will be selectively covered. Final projects are required and students are
encouraged to be creative. Prerequisite: Signals and Systems, Linear Algebra, or
consent by the instructor. Undergraduates in junior or senior years are also
welcome to take this course.

           電子顯微鏡是一個科學研究上被廣泛使用的顯微設備。為了提供在使用儀器上的基礎知識背景。本學期課程將說明電子顯微鏡的基本原理,由電子顯微鏡的基本電子光學架構開始談起,並說明電子與樣品之間的交互作用,以及我們能夠由電子顯微鏡得到哪一些樣品特性的資訊。並說明電子顯微鏡基本操作的方法。

            Electron microscope is a widely-used microscopic equipment in the scientific research field. To provide the basic knowledge about the usage of instruments, this courses will include the fundamental theory of electron microscope. We’ll start from the basic electron optics framework of electron microscope to the interaction between electron and specimen, and to the information of specimen feature we can get from electron microscope. In addition, to explain the basic operation of electron microscope.
